Founded in 2018 by a group of travel enthusiasts, Getaway Gear has come a long way from its humble beginnings in Clerkenwell, central London. When we first started, our passion for providing the best shopping platform for our fellow travel buddies drove us to do intense research to find the best travel products from around the world, giving us the impetus to turn hard work and inspiration into to a booming online shop. We now serve customers in over 75 countries and are thrilled to be a part of the eco-friendly wing, of the travel accessories industry.
At Getaway Gear, we’re often asked how our product prices are kept so low, even though they’re high-end, luxurious, travel bags and travel accessories.
We’re able to keep our prices much lower than our competitors by carefully selecting, mainly independent manufacturers around the world. Delivering straight from one of three fulfilment centres in America, Europe and Asia to our clients means we don’t incur the costs of additional cost warehousing our products ourselves.


Getaway Gear accepts payments via PayPal, allowing users to make secure purchases via Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards or via funds transfer from their PayPal account. We do not record payment details on our site.
